PLOT:
Worried about her estranged artist dad, Arletty drives to the seaside town of Point Dume, California, to check in on him. As she asks around to find out if anyone has seen her father, a chance encounter with the town's eccentrics and well-off visiting stranger Thom will lead to hair-raising revelations about the regional folklore and a cursed anniversary. But first things first. Why do people go to the beach every night? Who is behind the local religious movement? Who or, better yet, what is killing the townspeople?
